Today’s bake sale raised $1,647. Wow! So excited to send these funds to Doctors Without Borders.

Nearly 20 people have joined in to help bake, and if you’re not aware, vegans don’t mess around with baking. Seriously. You really do not want to miss this bake sale.

Satisfy your sweet tooth and save lives! All proceeds will benefit Doctors without Borders, a fantastic organization who is currently on the ground working in Haiti.
BAKERS: Your help is needed! Skip the whip or anything that will spoil without refrigeration. Remember to keep it clean and pretty please wrap up individual servings of your goodies. NONVEGANS: Vegan treats are just as good as the ooey gooey chewy stuff you love. You’ll like it, really, so come by and support us.
ABSENTEES: You can help out even if you can’t come out. Spread the word! Distribute flyers (see previous post)! Share this blog with friends.

Inspired by the good people at the Post Punk Kitchen and the heartbreaking images and stories in the news, we’ll be hosting a vegan bake sale to raise funds for Haiti.
Additional bakers needed! We can provide recipes to anyone who is not familiar with vegan baking – it’s easy! Email cwhy1@hotmail.com if you are interested in providing vegan baked goods for the sale.
Shoppers needed! Come out and get some yummy treats and know that all of the funds will go to help the people of Haiti.
